The Legacy team is comprised of dedicated individuals with extensive backgrounds in property management and home maintenance. Our team of technicians are invested in the success of each property as their involvement spans full lifecycle from punch list through delivery and throughout each rental season. The goal of the team is to alleviate the burden of routine maintenance for each home to operate most efficiently.

General Manager
More than 20 years of experience in leadership, management, process improvement, and resource utilization. He is a U.S. Navy Veteran with a degree in Medical Laboratory Science and co-owned a small business specializing in landscape/lawncare, pressure washing, complete home repairs, and remodeling. He is very Happy to be working with the SAGA team!
Jan Forrester
Assist. General Manager
Living on the Outer Banks for over 30 years and has experienced the changes the area has gone through. Graduated East Carolina University with a BS in Elementary Education and move back home to start my career in Real Estate. Worked for one of the largest Rental Management Companies for over 16 years before making the change to construction with SAGA/Legacy Home Services.
Harry Simpson
Maintenance Tech
Harry’s technical skill and knowledge of property maintenance comes from 20 years in property management. Work at Duck Woods Country Club as Facilities Maintenance manager. Owned a paint and lawncare company and ran a Handyman Business for over 25 years. He holds an HVAC certification.

Dwayne has more than 20 years of experience in numerous construction and landscaping fields. He is heading our Lawncare department and has lived in the Outer Banks for 36 years. He is polite, hardworking, understanding, meticulous, and very driven!

)Doug is an outdoor enthusiast that has been living on the OBX for over 20 years. Has 15 years of experience in the maintenance field and is one of our top-notch techs! Hobbies include Kayaking, fishing, hiking, flying kites and anything outdoors.
Jonathon Bush
Maintenance Technician
One of our best maintenance techs and leading the Run Hill/Somerset Maintenance team, Jon moved to the Outer Banks in August 2020 from Ocean City, MD, where he was a volunteer firefighter and EMT for 8 years. He is known in our team for his expertise and quality of work in the drywall/painting area as well as his mechanical knowledge and management skills. He is also a certified pool operator.
